A Welcome Reception and Orientation Sessions for Newcomers
Hosted by the City of Charlottetown
The City of Charlottetown will host the annual Mayor's Newcomer Welcome Reception and Orientation Sessions this fall. Registration for the orientation sessions is now open.
The orientation sessions and the Mayor's welcoming reception are designed to welcome newcomers to Charlottetown, providing information about the Capital, including City departments, programs and services.
All three events will be held at Charlottetown City Hall, 199 Queen Street.
Mayor's Newcomer Welcome Reception
This is an opportunity to visit City Hall and meet the Mayor and Council members, as well as other newcomers, in a comfortable, informal setting. This is a free event, open to all newcomers who live or work in Charlottetown, and registration is not required.
Date and Time: Thursday, October 11, 5 to 7 pm
Orientation Sessions for Newcomers
These two sessions will feature information from City departments. The sessions include refreshments and a tour of the Charlottetown Fire Department, Station 1. These sessions are a great opportunity for newcomers to learn more about City Hall and ask questions. The sessions are free and open to newcomers who have recently moved to Charlottetown. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pre-registration for the orientations is required.
