Enhancing newcomer settlement and inclusion through collaboration

PIP Highlights from October to December 2025

24/01/2026

The PEI Provincial Immigration Partnership (PIP) continues to bring people together to make Prince Edward Island a more welcoming and inclusive place for everyone. Here are some highlights from this quarter.

Evening of Many Nations: Participants sharing challenges, opportunities and ideas

PEI PIP established new relationships with Study & Stay PEI and Workplace Learning PEI, continued support for BIPOC Business and Professional Network economic integration study and DEI planning within the Department of Education and Early Years, while working hard on the convening the new PIP Council for January.

A major highlight was the Evening of Many Nations, which brought together over 20 cultural community leaders for dialogue, networking, and shared problem‑solving—setting the stage for deeper cooperation among community groups. PIP also participated in the Investing in Canada’s Shared Future: Pathways to Possibilities conference, where over 300 participants from Immigration Partnerships across Canada explored future‑focused immigration strategies. PIP rounded out the quarter by supporting partner events including newcomer open houses, employment programming, and community gatherings across the province.
